This sample Highlight demonstrates the template for this new content type, which is:
- Primary Features in the hero space (like the home page). This supports multiple features and they have many options, but the intent so far is to use a single feature with a background video for Highlights.
- WYSIWYG text content. If more complex content layouts are needed, BT will get it set up for you.
- Highlighted Work Samples. Choose any amount of samples to display, in any order.
- Optional Contact Form.
More About Highlights
Note that we're calling this new content type "Highlights" for now, but the marketing team should decide what to officially call them.
Individual Highlights are assigned to the Highlights main page, which determines which ones appear in the primary navigation (and what order they appear in).
You could create Highlights as landing pages that aren't linked in the primary navigation, if desired.
Updates to Work Samples
Along with the new Highlights content type, Work Samples have been updated as follows:
- The gallery at the top of a Work Sample has been updated to include the modern slider UI, which includes touch/swipe navigation and customized previous/next controls.
- Samples now include an optional "Feature Video," which will be the first item in the upper gallery on Work Samples. Feature Videos will autoplay, but are muted by default.
